EXISTING GLOBAL ORGANIZATIONS

Evaluating Existing Organizations by the SHG Standard

Global organizations are involved in many health-related projects around the world. Countries and non governmental actors turn to these organizations for general guidance, especially in the face of global threats like a pandemic. Despite their power and influence, the performance of global organizations in health endeavors is questionable.

Global organizations fall short of the standards of justice and governance required by Provincial Globalism (PG) and Shared Health Governance (SHG). This section provides an SHG analysis of major global organizations in the health domain: the World Health Organization and the World Bank. Evaluating these organizations leads to ideas for new institutions, such as the Global Health Constitution and the Global Institute of Health and Medicine developed under PG and SHG.
