APPLICATION
Shared Health Governance (SHG) offers a strategy to better govern ourselves for our common good of health capabilities for all. It focuses on the cooperative potential of human beings and seeks to establish conditions for collaboration towards the common good. It emphasizes the common good–sharing of norms, values, and mutual accountability and responsibility –employing social motivation and aligning our self-interest with shared goals. Shared Health Governance is a framework for both global and domestic health systems, helping restructure individual and group interactions to optimally achieve health capabilities and flourishing for all persons.
