COVID-19 IN USA, GERMANY, TAIWAN, AND SOUTH KOREA
overview
We adapted the Health Capability Profile (HCP) to the epidemiological context of the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States, Germany, Taiwan, and South Korea, creating a measurable profile and index that we operationalized through qualitative surveys collecting both objective and subjective data. Each of the Profile’s 15 health capability domains were reframed to capture the cumulative COVID-related abilities and conditions for individuals in these specific contexts, such as COVID-related health knowledge and health services access. The survey will be conducted on nationally representative probability samples of US, German, Taiwanese, and South Korean populations.
